Talks Dropbox ( Announcement – 30 Nov 2017)
An email will be sent to all delegates next week (4 or 5 December), giving general conference information. This will include, for presenters, instructions on where to upload their talks.
Information for the workshop attendees will also be given.
A presentation schedule is now available.
Presenters are encouraged to check the programme as soon as
possible, and to notify email@example.com of
any necessary changes.
The following details are very preliminary and subject to change without any notice.
At this stage we think there will be 4 sessions held each day:
- 09:00 to 10:30 [most plenary talks held during this session],
- 11:00 to 12:30,
- 13:45 to 15:30,
- 16:00 to 18:00.
Most contributed and invited talks will be about 15 to 17 mins each.
There will be up to 6 parallel sessions at any one time.
Speakers will be requested to upload their talk beforehand—details will be provided later.
The Young Statisticians Event will be held on Mon evening, and their session will be Mon 16:00 to 17:30.
The conference dinner will be Tuesday evening at the same venue.
The NZSA AGM will be just prior to the dinner.
The conference will end at lunchtime Thursday, with the closing ceremony held just before that.
Are you presenting?
Presentations will be a maximum of 18 minutes, including questions. Upload your presentation in PDF or PowerPoint format at https://webdropoff.auckland.ac.nz/, addressed to firstname.lastname@example.org and with a note of which day, session and time you’re presenting in prior to the day of your presentation, or bring your presentation to the registration desk on a USB drive no later than the catering break prior to the start of your presentation session. Your presentation file name must match the family name/surname of the presenter.
Please make sure you have checked the latest version of the programme and know when you are presenting. http://www.nzsa2017.com/agenda-ical-view/
Am I a session chair?
We have emailed all session chairs and so hopefully you know! However, this information is also in the latest version of the programme. Session Chairs, please ensure presentations are kept to time.
