University of Auckland Hall of Residence Options
Below three (3) options are located less than 1km from the conference venue and offer comfortable, budget-conscious accommodation which includes unlimited wireless internet access and the following services:
Reception Services:
Reception is open from 8:00am – 8:00pm Monday to Friday. Check in can take place from 2pm and check out is by 10am. Alternative times for check in/out can be arranged with advance notice. Reception can also help you book transportation, and advice on Auckland and its many attractions and dining options.
Laundry Services:
There is a user pay laundry room in all of our accommodation. There are washing machines, dryers and irons available 24/7.
Linen:
Rooms are provided with a mattress protector, two sheets, pillow, pillow case and duvet. Towels are also provided. Linen exchange services are available for long stay guests, and short stay guests can exchange towels at reception for $3.

University Hall – Towers

Completed in 2011, University Hall offers affordable single accommodation with stunning views is centrally located off Symonds Street, just under 10 minutes’ walk from the conference venue.
Each single room contains a king-single bed, workspace, wireless internet connection, wardrobe and opening window with blind.
Shared Bathroom: Four unisex bathrooms on each level offer lockable showers and toilets.
There is a communal lounge with television on every floor with a kitchenette.
Communal games and television lounges and music rooms are available in the facility for all guests to enjoy.

Located on the corner of Symonds and Wakefield Street and opened in February 2020, this brand new complex offers modern, comfortably furnished, air-conditioned single and double studio apartments just under 10 minutes’ walk from the conference venue.
Every room has an ensuite bathroom, and each apartment has a king-single or double bed, wall mounted flat screen TV, full kitchenette and wireless internet.
Guests can also enjoy the use of communal games room, lounges and music rooms in the facility.

Option 3 –
Carlaw Park Student Village

Opened in February 2014 and located adjacent to the Auckland Domain, Carlaw Park Student Village offers comfortable apartments just under 10 minutes’ walk from the conference venue.
Carlaw Park Student Village offers single bedrooms (one room can accommodate a couple, on request) in three bedroom apartments. Each single room contains a king single bed, workspace, wireless internet connection, wardrobe and opening window with blind.
- one master bedroom with queen bed (this room can accommodate a couple, on request)
- two additional bedrooms with long single beds
- private bathroom per apartment.
Every apartment comes furnished with a kitchen and lounge room, lockable toilet and lockable shower and has wireless internet connection. Communal games room, lounges and music rooms are available in the facility for all guests to enjoy.
